Exposé: Contemporary Sequel - The Theft of the Commons - Again

“The trade of the petty usurer is hated with most reason: it makes a profit from currency itself, instead of making it from the process which currency was meant to serve. Their common characteristic is obviously their sordid avarice.” - Aristotle

It’s the rich who are the weak. They give in to envy and desire for the produce of others. When they’ve misled the community and have hoarded our common wealth, they claim it was produced by their authority and hard work. We all know how many poor fools believe that sorry propaganda. We shall vanquish this evil. Remember, the profit of investors is the most unnecessary part of the cost of any product.

June 15, 2007
Six or seven hundred years ago it started to get really bad. The royalty had began to covet the little bits of land that had been left to the rest of US, and which provided our livelihood through subsistence farming. The common land that people and all of life had shared for millions of years had mostly disappeared into the private hoards of the rich aristocrats. What little was left for the majority of the population to call their own in common, was protected, not always very well, by the Church. In England, its Protestant Revolution brought an end to what little power and autonomy remained with the people and/or their Catholic protectors. Eventually free market capitalists convinced US that slavery to the rich is the only freedom to which we can aspire. The freedom of the rich to dominate the community and the Earth for the individual profits of members of their elite ruling class is the only kind that most of US will never know. They’ve trained US to applaud their privatization of our common wealth of land and produce. They steal from our community constantly and we’re proud to oblige in the name of nationalism, capitalism, neo liberal free market economy-ism (the fantastic magic bean economy derived from Friedman-esque delusions) and other perfidious religions invented or corrupted by the con artists who mislead US for personal gain.
The power of our spirit and intellect have brought about great Human Progress, by overcoming the resistence of the rich to anything that didn’t obviously serve their wealth and power. Well . . . we’ve progressed scientifically and technically, at the same time, even with respect to the advancement of democratic forms of government, we’ve regressed socially and spiritually. We have gained great knowledge but it’s administered and controlled by greedy, lizard brained, conscienceless morons. The devolution is due to the unfortunate circumstance, which is the existence of the wealthy elite masters. Most of what we’ve accomplished has been coopted to the service of the avarice for all the produce of the Human Race, by those who mislead US to that end.
And a dead end it will be. We’re dominated by parasites who think of themselves as predator-winners. They are really cannibals. Predators don’t prey on their own species. A moron should be able to see why that must be a loser’s strategy, when it’s generally emulated - as it inevitably will be because it becomes what we must do to survive. The foundations of greed are disguised by pseudo economic theories that claim but fail to provide free market access, opportunity and choice. These things are available to none but the few elites and their bourgeois sellouts, sycophants and wannabees. For an increasing majority of US, poverty grows in the shade of a looming and bleak future of increasing dependence on greedy fools who are profiting by dissipating (through outsourcing) our ability, knowledge and skill to produce the things we need to live.
We’ve been scammed and deluded by ideologically motivated theories of economy, which serve only the greed of a few. It’s hard for most people to understand the nature of economy. That’s more so, with con artists working on behalf of the ruling elites to create great lies, called economic theories, that help to maintain a corrupt and unbalanced social order. To see through the web of deceit that occludes the truth, it’s helpful to explain the real nature of economy. We don’t build communities that supply our common needs in order to provide opportunities to syphon off wealth from the market and medium of exchange, which we’ve created to distribute the goods we cooperate to make. We create communities for our common well being. That’s why social instinct is part of the genetic structure of the Human Race. Our economy is an invention that supports the common well being, which has been instructed by “Nature and Nature’s God.”1 That information is encoded in our DNA. We join together for the profit of all. That common endeavor to provide our livelihood is what an economy is.

1 - The Declaration of Independence, Thomas Jefferson

Today, our economy is unnaturally dominated by a few for their individual profit. That abomination of Human Nature is increasing the poverty of many, the wealth of a few and the relative well being of a shrinking number of bourgeois sellouts, sycophants and wannabees. The conservatives point to the growing numbers of millionaires and billionaires but ignore the growing poverty that must be made to create the possibility of hoarded wealth in the zero sum reality. The Law of Conservation of Matter and Energy makes zero sum the only possible reality, because that law really is inviolable. Instead of acknowledging ultimate truth, they say speciously that, “a rising tide raises all boats.” Some of US can see. When the Moon and Sun pull the sea up onto one shore, they’re pulling it off another.
Our economy now serves the rich. It is no longer in support of the common well being that “Nature and Nature’s God”2 commanded. From our natural egalitarian social condition, greed “brings us by a commodius vicus of recirculation”3 to a condition of virtual slavery, overseen by unnatural paper people. The corporations have been created by rich investors to shield them from liability, accountability and responsibility for the destruction of the Human Race by the parasitic disease that they embody. The evil slave empire is administered by the corporate clones: the CEOs, bankers, politicians and lawyers that the neo aristocratic rich investors own. The theft of the commons, the basis of economy, that began so long ago, is all but completed by ever greater control, by individual private interests, of all that we’ve worked together to build. See, it’s not really a sequel. It’s one continuous tragic story (at least 5000 years old) of the devolution and decline of Human Life on Earth, for the benefit of a few self destructive, puerile and greedy fools, who fancy themselves as the epitome of evolution. I’d say let them kill themselves with their stupidity of covetousness for our goods, if they weren’t taking US down with them, by the systematic theft of all that we produce to sustain ourselves.

The corruption, by privatization and misdirection of our culture, for the profit of the rich, is accomplished with the aid of the ruthless efficiency of conscienceless, amoral legal entities, which are bound by law to serve the few at the expense of the many. The abominations are called corporations and they serve only the profit of the few rich investors . . . at our expense. The psychopathic nature of the corporate personality was revealed unequivocally by the documentary film, “The Corporation.”

Narration:
To determine the kind of personality that drives the corporation to behave like an externalizing machine, we can analyze it, like a psychiatrist would a patient. We can even formulate a diagnosis, on the basis of typical case histories of harm it has inflicted on others selected from a universe of corporate activity.

A corporation is simply a artificial legal structure, but the people who are engaged in it, whether the stockholder, whether the executives in it, whether the employees, they all have moral responsibilities.

transcript, “The Corporation” Part II

The corporations are psychopaths, paper people, unnatural creations that dominate with reckless disregard for our well being the Human Race that they exploit for profit above all other considerations. They’re insane! What does that make US? We tolerate them! The insanity of profit before people permeates our post modern existence. It’s a threat to our survival . . . to the existence of the Human Race.
Michael Moore’s “Sicko”is opening soon. On 6/14 Democracy Now featured his recent address of California lawmakers in Sacramento at a special briefing.
“. . . on February 17, 1971, a conversation between John Ehrlichman and Richard Nixon. They’re about to put forth the bills that would bring us the modern-day HMOs. And Ehrlichman says to Nixon, “Now, there is one more piece of this we have to figure out, we want to talk to the Vice’ President about this, and it is about these health maintenance organizations like Edgar Kaiser’s Permanente thing’, as he put it. And Nixon interrupts him and says ‘I don't want to talk about these damn medical programs.’ And Erlichman goes ‘Wait, this is a private enterprise one. And Nixon goes, ‘Oh, okay, I like that.’ And then Ehrlichman essentially boils down what would become the health insurance system that we now have today. Ehrlichman says to Nixon ‘the genius of Edgar Kaiser is what they want to do here is try and provide as little care as possible so they can make the biggest profit possible.’ And suddenly Nixon lights up. And he says, ‘Oh, okay, this is great, fine, not bad. Let's do this.’ That is what they did. Once they understood what the basic premise was, that it was to provide less care for more profit, that was something that they loved. . . .” DN - Michael Moore

From about 1940 to 1970 we made some real social progress. The corporations we’re forced by union organization of the population to share the wealth. Many public works we’re done, which created common property and infrastructure that promoted general prosperity.
When Milton Friedman said that non interference, in a free market regulated only by the choices we make and founded on the dogma of private property, is the ideal, he should have known that conservatives would realize his fantasy as a license to steal our common works in order to make a few individuals rich. Maybe he did?!
Naive free [magic bean] market, competition, supply and demand, deregulation, choice of products theories like Friedman’s were bound to be interpreted as license to greed by the conservative rich elite ruling class and their minion CEOs and politicians. Not that the reincarnated Adam Smith’s specious notions could have worked in a sincere and honest world. The very idea of one profiting due to the inevitable [zero sum {see outcome (game theory) and other childishly foolish ideas}] loss of many is immoral in its conception. But that’s what the market is all about. And we’re required to avoid heresy by our support and faith in these childish theories.
Some of the results of Free Trade Agreements, conservative realization of neoliberal theory and World Bank/IMF vulture loans are listed, along with the results of prototype operations proved up on US by the corporate masters.
      - Eucalyptus mono culture and the displaced family farmers in Brazil. The disappearance of family farmers in the U.S. and everywhere. Roundup Ready genetically engineered frankenseed. [“Future of Food”]
      - Dams, Alberta H2S gas wells, Katrina and other producers of “environmental refugees.”
      - concentration of wealth by the corporate tool of the rich.
      - dependence on corporate clone culture and their profitable foreign sources for the things we need to live.
      – Walmart importing food from China, where standards are even lower than those set by our crippled in the name of non government interference FDA. Jim Hightower says that “Upton Sinclair would upchuck.” if he saw what they [conservatives] have done to the agency his exposés had inspired.
      - the threat to our survival posed by faith in the cult of the free market which has always been the problem and can never be the solution because it’s driven by blind greed and willfully refuses to see the consequence of pyramid scam economy. They just keep on making money without regard to the dissipation intrinsic in the creation of abstract tokens that represent no real thing.
It’s accelerating the acceleration of our decline with geometrically increasing force.

Their private interest in exploiting and profiting by our common efforts has come to dominate the Planet more pervasively than ever before, in the past two hundred years. The rise of corporate power, marked by, among many things, the privatization of our few remaining common interests and our government itself, has displaced democracy in America and most of the western world. Our democratic [through elections] republic’s inability to resist the corruption by the elite social and economic class makes it effectively obsolete and objectively irrelevant. We can save our democracy by demanding honest elections and asserting our will to have the fruits of our common works. To accomplish anything within the system we must deny the corporate paper people the ability to own our government. The needed reforms are possible, without constitutional change or violent revolution. All that’s required is the sense, courage and will to take back our own, by confiscatory taxation of excessive monetary wealth, for the public good, and communitization of the unhealthy hoards of property - especially the land and resources so key to our survival, which have been stolen over the centuries from the common property and the domain of life itself.
